I’m Ben Gibbons, and I started Nimble after years of dreaming about a business centred around producing professional videography and photography that offers something different.
The road to becoming Nimble.
Since childhood, I’ve been obsessed with photography to capture a moment and make it last forever. My earliest memory was hauling my camera up Ben Nevis on a family trip and taking over 700 photos on the way up alone.
Alongside my love of a camera, I developed an obsession with gritty art-house cinema. Think Deliverance, Pan’s Labyrinth and Mystic River, and you’ll get the right idea.
Over time I transitioned from a hobby photographer to a professional photographer and then a videographer. And with my fascination for arthouse-style imagery, the journey took its final step, and Nimble now offers cinematically styled visuals which view video and photography as an art form.
The result is something a little different – realistic but unexpected and with subtle changes in colour for incredibly high production values. What we deliver is a movielike story that can be paused to reveal a stunning still image.
